There are stressors in life that may affect the family in hurtful ways. Family counseling is unique in that it provides a space for the family unit to improve by not only working on the individuals making up the unit, but also the system as a whole.

Children do not developmentally have the ability to communicate their thoughts and feelings as adults do. Children show us how they are feeling through their behavior. Similarly, teens may have trouble expressing themselves, resulting in behavioral challenges at home or at school. Counseling can provide your child and/or adolescent with the opportunity to process their emotions and teach them coping skills to face challenges and continue thriving in their lives.

I do this by providing an individualized approach, tailoring it to each individual in a holistic manner to best serve your personal growth and allow you to feel empowered and fulfilled.

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and have experience working with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and anger management. I am a child and adolescent development expert and in turn, skilled in the area of parenting concerns.
